This drawing is an ode to contrasts.
To the light that passes through the skin, to the traces that the body bears without noise, without injury.
He's talking about vitiligo. — This pigmentation that fades away in places, as if the body voluntarily left room for emptiness, clarity, and another relief.
I wanted to make this singularity visible, as a precious variation. An intimate mapping. Each discoloured area becomes a gesture of light on the skin, a natural, unique, moving pattern.
Vitiligo tells another form of beauty — inhabited, alive. He says the difference, the softness, and the force to expose as it is, even when the outside look is wavering.
A skin that asserts, in its contrasts, as a work in itself.

Three drawings that prolong the intensity of the one presented, between meticulous realism and inner gaze.
