Abandonment

There are laughs that slam like fireworks.

In AbandonmentThe gesture is simple but fulgurant: a frank laughter, an open face, a tight embrace. Nothing is frozen, everything is motion, warmth, proximity.

This drawing captures the moment we forget we're being watched. Where one gives himself to the other without mask, without pose. The work speaks of love, of course — but above all abandon. From this rare moment when one is fully there, with the other, without fear of ridicule or vulnerability.
