Silently

There's this moment.
The one where it slides under the surface, leaving only the eyes to touch.

The noise dissolves, the silence thickens.
A thick silence, enveloping. An almost unreal calm.
We don't think anymore. Silently, we're watching.

Water becomes a border. Between yourself and the rest. Between the tumult of the world and the softness of the real.

It is a moment of suspended life, where one stands between two breaths, between oneself and oneself.
